Amitges Refuge: Aigüestortes and Estany in Sant Maurici

February 10, 11 and 12

Friday: At noon we leave Madrid, from the club we will rearrange the cars to be able to group together and get on as few as possible, taking care of the environment is in our hands. Approximate arrival time to Espot (Lleida) 22:00, we will spend the first night at the Roya Hotel.

Saturday: Early wake up. We will have breakfast and an SUV picks us up to take us to the Estany de Sant Maurici where our guide will be waiting for us. After approximately 3 hours of cross-country skiing we will arrive at the Amitges Refuge located at an altitude of 2380m. Once in the refuge we will unload the equipment, we will rest a bit and we will go on an excursion with the splits in search of the most incredible spots.

Sunday: We will take advantage of the morning to make close approaches to the refuge with the idea of picking up the equipment quickly and heading back to the Estany de Sant Maurici. At noon we will be in Espot for lunch. After tasting the typical gastronomy of the area, we will return to Madrid.
